About Us

Every Tuesday night, the hall at 701 S Mission Lane fills up with regulars clutching bingo cards, swapping stories, and rooting each other on. For just five dollars, anyone in Okmulgee can pull up a chair and play, no membership required. That single weekly ritual has become one of the most reliably affordable nights out in Creek County, and the reviews back it up: people come back week after week, even on the weeks they don't win.

Beyond bingo, Elks Lodge Okmulgee channels its energy into the kind of community work that rarely makes headlines but quietly holds a town together. Scholarship drives, veteran support, youth programs, and local fundraisers run through this lodge on a regular basis. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has carried that mission nationally since 1868, and this chapter carries it on the ground right here.

The social calendar runs deep for members, covering live music nights, pool tournaments, and seasonal food events that give the hall its own distinct rhythm. If you've been looking for a place where the handshakes are real and the causes are local, this is that place.

What We Offer

Tuesday Bingo is the flagship, open to the public at five dollars for the main event. It runs weekly, draws a loyal crowd, and offers genuine entertainment whether or not luck is on your side that evening. Bring cash, bring a friend, and expect a full room.

For Elks members, the calendar expands considerably. Live music performances, billiards tournaments, and member-only food events rotate through the year. The bar provides a relaxed gathering space on regular evenings, and the lodge's facilities are available for member-organized functions and community events.

The lodge also coordinates community service programs aligned with the national Elks mission: scholarship awards for local students, support initiatives for veterans, and charitable giving that stays inside Creek County. Membership opens the door to all of it, along with a national network of over 1,800 lodges where your card is recognized when you travel.

"Only 5.00 for main bingo on Tuesdays. Awesome entertainment for an affordable price whether you win or not. It gets me out of the house, and I can certainly find change in my couch, cushions or car. :)"

"Big disappointment. Traveling Elk heading back to home lodge. No welcome from bartender. Other members never even introduced themselves as they arrived. Was made extremely unwelcome by everyone. Just to clarify, was there at opening and several members arrived and walked past me without even a nod. Friendly janitor had talked to me just before opening but was gone when the lodge opened. Stood at end of bar, waited to be greeted, nothing, not even asked for a drink order, this is a bar, nothing. Five elks sitting at bar, not a word from anybody. Left after 15 minutes, the attitude was you are an intruder. I have visited over 60 lodges in the years since I joined. This is not normal behavior."

"If this could be given a negative 5 star rating I would give it that.. they had a pool tournament and I was and invited guest and when I was watching the tournament play out before my turn a guy gets in my face and starts making threats given that he was drunk. My turn came up low n behold I got cpt drunko as my opponent and I lost do to him cheating when I told them what had happened I was confronted outside by another member asked me the problem I told him. The drunk guys wife was also there saying she was a board member throwing her weight around. Needless to say I have never been back and will never be back due to them allowing members to get in guests faces and make threats"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
